Rocket Shatner

Everyone knows about William Shatner and his supposed singing career. So this clip is really no suprise. Except that he is performing live. And that someone paid him to perform live. Infront of a large crowd of peers who I guess are not making fun of him. And that blue screen technology seemed a perfect compliment to the performance. And that Shatner thinks he's acting 'deep'. And that Bernie Taupin actually introduces him. And in a respectful manner.



I actually saw the next clip first. I thought that Chris Elliot was just making fun of Shatner in general, not realizing that it was a spoof of a specific situation. I was wrong; horribly, horribly wrong.
